Why Get a Massage

Ok, so you know the obvious benefits of massage.
Pain relief. Stress relief. Reduces anxiety. It just feels great. Ease headaches and migraines.

What about the long term benefits? A regular massage once a month or bi-weekly, can be truly beneficial to your body and mentality. Depending on your pain level, you might need to start with once or twice a week, then gradually lessen the visits, to maintain your health.

Lower your blood pressure.

Increase circulation.

Improve your sleep.

Reduce those back aches (or shoulder aches), a few things that most of us suffer from.

Massage also gives your immune system a boost (it stimulates lymph flow- the body’s natural defense system) and improves flexibility, helping to prevent injuries. It also releases endorphins, the body’s natural painkiller.

Before a session begins, please let me know if any of the following pertains to you:

  • If you’ve had any eye surgeries within the last week (i.e. lasik)

  • Implants (of any kind) within the last 9 months

  • Botox within the last 24 hours or any other “filler” within the last 5 days

  • If you’re pregnant

This does not mean you cannot receive a massage. It just means I will have to change some technique to make it work for you.
